The Visitor Chat Window can be fully translated into any language in our system. This allows you to provide support to customers in any country, speaking any language. All chat winow elements are translated after you select language on the Account Settings / Regional Settings page.
Web based agent app is available in English, French, German, Russian and Chinese. In the native app you can choose one of the following localizations: English, French, German, Russian or Chinese.
Account Control Panel is available in English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, German, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese and French.
How to translate Visitor Chat Window
Standard translation of all non customizable and default elements of the Visitor Chat Window into most of popular world languages is available directly from your account Control Panel, Account Settings / Regional Settings page. If there is no needed language available in the account Control Panel, then please contact us in our support chat or via email.
Currently we have standard translation for the following languages:
Default customizable parts of the Visitor Chat Window are translated automatically. However, in some languages the default translation is not available. In this case you would need to translate customizable elements such as system messages, window and field titles manually.
Translation performed manually
You can translate all customizable elements of the Visitor Chat Window if you would like to change the default translation after changing your chat window language (system messages, pre-chat window and offline messages window fields' titles, operators' greeting messages, chat invitation and post-chat survey) from the account Control Panel:
•Please be careful and do not translate variables like VISITOR, OPERATOR etc. when translating system messages
•To translate the pre-chat window fields' titles, please edit each field and translate the text in the Title field
•To translate the offline form fields' titles, please edit each field and translate the text in the Title field
•Chat window titles can be translated on the Account Settings / Live Chat Window page in the Texts section
•Operator's greeting message can be translated by editing a particular operator profile. This option is available only for Classic Chat Window
•To translate the chat invitation you need to edit the invitation background image to replace all texts with translated ones and then upload the translated image to your account
•To translate the post-chat survey you need to download its ZIP archive, translate all needed texts in post-chat-survey-confirmation.html and post-chat-survey-form.html files and upload the translated survey back to the account. Detailed information on translating and customizing the post-chat survey is available here. The default translation is offered for all post chat surveys available in our gallery. However, you can update the template and add your own translation and content.
