General
For editing system messages two types of editors are available:
•WYSIWIG
•HTML
With the help of these editors you can customize your system messages and apply special styles to them.
WYSIWYG editor
WYSIWYG editor is enabled by default in all accounts created after June, 26 2025. It allows using an editor to apply styles to the texts of system messages, add images, clickable links, tables and arrange lists.

HTML editor
HTML editor allows adding pure HTML. The WYSIWYG toolbar is disabled in HTML mode.

Technical details
1.All basic HTML tags used for content formatting are allowed. The list of disallowed tags currently is the following: DOCTYPE, HTML, HEAD, BODY, TITLE, META, BASE, SCRIPT, NOSCRPT, LINK, FRAME, FRAMESET, IFRAME, XML. It can be extended at any moment if we notice that some HTML tags are used in an inappropriate way. Also JavaScript event handlers and calls of functions will be cleared from system messages.
2.The text fonts selected for the chat window on the Account Settings / Live Chat Window page are applied to the texts in system messages unless they are overridden by styles which you apply to your system messages.
