Canned responses, operators and departments reordering, chat buttons for flash websites and other updates

We have added a few system updates which allow you to more easily sort your canned responses, operator profiles and departments, without the need to recreate them. It is now possible to assign operators to a specific department right from the department settings screen. Our Chat Button Codes page now features a special code for flash websites to make integration process faster and easier.

Regional settings updated with extended list of supported time zones

We have updated the Regional Settings screen to include more time zones which were previously missing from the list of supported time zones. With this update we have also fixed the problem with incorrect time display during the transition to Daylight Saving Time, which occurred due to different times at which different counties and states moved (or not moved) to DST. We hope that from now on all of you will see the correct time stamps in your chat transcripts all year round. If you notice any issues, please report them to us.

5.7.2 operator console beta release

The new release features an improved user agent parser with recognition of more browsers and operating systems, including Windows 8 and different mobile OS. We have added a new more powerful spell-checking engine to our latest operator console release, version 5.7.1. Now you are no more limited to the several dictionaries pre-installed in the operator console. You have the full freedom to explore the wide range of dictionaries available for free on OpenOffice.org website to meet you specific demands, and even run your own custom dictionary.

New Release: Operator Console, version 5.7.1

We are glad to announce a new release of Provide Support Live Chat Console, featuring versions for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. Apart from fixing minor bugs that were reported in the previous version and adding support Mountain Lion Mac OS, we have introduced into the application a new Hunspell spell-checking engine, which allows installation of Open Office dictionaries, full screen mode for Geo-Location Map, tab docking feature and more customization options for the messages input area.
